Green Things, a new series!

I've been wanting to incorporate more green/holistic ideas into my blog to help people understand that green living is actually very easy and affordable. So I've decided to do a "Green Things" series. Hopefully I will be able to write about one green thing everyday or at least every few days which is probably more realistic, lol.

You don't have to clean out your house all at once and get rid of everything with chemicals because lets face it, that would be a waste and that's not very green! It's about making small steps towards living healthier and taking care of our planet. So the next time you buy something look at your options, is there an all natural, organic, or recycled version?

Green Thing of the day: natural laundry detergent

I found this very interesting information on the back of the bottle: "If every household in the US replaced just one bottle of 100oz 2x concentrated petroleum-based laundry detergent with our 100oz 2x concentrated plant-derived product, we could save 370,000 barrels of oil, enough to heat and cool 21,200 US homes for a YEAR!"
