My first harvest of the year! The gorgeous lettuce was volunteer. I planted some last year and this year it reappeared on the other side of the garden! Nature is such an amazing thing :) Now I'm in search of some delicious new squash recipes, any ideas?? The only thing more rewarding than eating food that you have grown from a seed on your own little piece of Earth is watching your babies grow into beautiful human beings. I'm thankful every day that I get to do both : )
