Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all. ~Sam Ewing

I would be lying if I said working at the dairy seven days a week didn't get old. I can't imagine getting to sleep in and sit on my butt all day, even just one day! Actually, I probably wouldn't even be able to sit around all day because of the guilt I would feel about all the things that needed to be done.
A typical day for me is: wake up around 7 am, take the boys to the barn with me to work, come home around 9:30 am, hurry to get ready to go to a playgroup or some other event, come home around noon, feed the boys, get Lennon to take a nap, sit down and read with Jude, then 3:30 pm has already arrived and it's time for me to go back to the barn, come home around 6 pm, take a shower, if I'm lucky Jimmy has dinner ready and if not I make it, eat dinner, 7:30 pm boys get a bath courtesy of Jimmy, put Lennon to bed around 8 pm, feel lucky if Jude is in bed before 10 pm, feel really lucky if Jimmy and I get to sit down and watch something on Netflix, go to bed around 11 pm, wake up about 4 times during the night to nurse my sleepless little leach Lennon, wake up around 7 am and do it all over again! I squeeze in time to keep my house clean, check and write emails, and maybe do a blog throughout the day. I NEED A BREAK!!!
