"Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity." - Kay Redfield Jamison
Ahhh, the joy of unschooling! When most kids would have been in school yesterday, mine were playing in puddles :)
Jude is gathering rocks for his rock collection and Lennon is learning how to throw them!
I love Lennon's face in this one :)
Homeschooling...always on my mind and something I know I should do with my three children. Two are now in public schools, I look forward to reading more about your journey!
ReplyDeleteMy kids are in traditional public school but we do a fair amount of homeschool stuff over the summer. I like to focus on the things they don't cover in regular school (who believes that if it isn't on a standardized test, why bother teaching, right?)
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to check out your blog from the Sunday blog hop! Hope you can stop by and follow back! Have a great week!
