Lennon has really enjoyed these awesome magnet toys someone let us borrow. I love it when my kids spend time building and creating things with their hands. I can just see those synapses firing!
We went to the library this week and Jude decided he would like to learn about airplanes so these are the books he picked out.
With Legos we built the Wright Brother's plane, a hang glider, and a futuristic spacecraft of some sort!
This is Jude's Lego creation station where he spends hours a day.
We've had quite a bit of art time this week as Lennon has really gotten into coloring. Here he is painting with water on a Crayola water doodle book (GENIUS idea for toddlers!).
This is usually how art time ends up, with a mess of course :)
Jude has finally shown an interest in writing. Yesterday we got a notice on our door that our water was going to be shut off all day due to construction. So Jude thought he needed to write them a letter informing them that they better get the water pipes fixed soon. He asks me how to spell the words and I help him sound them out. We got to the word pipe and he he figured out that the first three letters were P I P then he asked me if it had an E on the end to make the I a long sound. I was so proud :)
this whole post is amazing. photos, kiddos, all of it =)

I love your post. We have those magnet toys as well, but I'm so worried that Brennan will swallow one. They're put away for now.
