6 months already?!?

Wow, I can't believe it's already been 6 months since Rivers birth! You know how everyone has that "happiest day of their life" day? Maybe it's your wedding day or the birth of your first child. It's not like you've never been or will never be that happy again, it's just the day that really sticks out in your mind and changes your life forever. Well the day River was born was that day for me. It was the day that I had been waiting for my whole life, the day I stood at the top of the mountain I had been wanting to climb for so long. Anyways, here I was 6 months ago today, in my bedroom, sitting on a birthing stool at the foot of my bed, holding my third little boy, umbilical cord still attached.

And here I am today with my sweet baby River, still savoring every precious moment of his existence :)
