February Photo Challenge- Days 4 and 5

Yesterday, February 4- a stranger

I didn't take any photos of a stranger yesterday. This is a picture of me and Lennon at the zoo the other day. You may be wondering why I would post a picture of my child when I'm supposed to be talking about someone I don't know. Well, Lennon is an odd little character and there are moments when he feels a stranger to me. I don't even really know how to explain him. Difficult is probably a good word to use. This is not saying anything bad against him. It's not his problem, he's just easily misunderstood and it is "difficult" to connect with him and understand him. I guess this is what make him feel like a stranger sometimes. I sort of love him for this though because he is very similar to me. I also don't easily connect with other people and have always felt like a bit of a stranger myself. So it is up to me to get to know my beautiful little boy better everyday and understand his strange little self :)    

Today, February 5- 10am

I was up at the new house cleaning today at 10am. This is my new double oven that I am giddy over! You have no idea how excited I am to be able to bake an entire batch of cookies at one time!!! I'm going to need more cookie sheets and no more having to turn things half way through baking because my current, very old, oven bakes hotter on one side. I may have to start a bakery out of my house!
