The ball is rolling!

We have FINALLY started building our new house! The plumbers are up there doing the rough in right now and the slab will be poured on Monday. After the slab is poured we will do almost everything else ourselves. The exterior walls, roof, and one load bearing wall will all be SIPs (structural insulated panels). They will be delivered precut, numbered, and ready to stand up. They are super energy efficient and only take a couple of days to put up. Hopefully the house will be done before the new baby gets here!
